Grenada-Tender to Harbor

To go ashore, we had to board tenders. Each one would hold 200 passengers comfortably. We then went around the bend into the harbor. It's hard to imagine that tiny white dot was 3 decks high and easily held 200 passengers.

The harbor is small compared with others we've seen. There is a sidewalk around it and a street just to the inside of the sidewalk. The buildings are on the other side of the street. There were venders in shacks, under trees, beside doorways, even 3 year old children. All had spices to sell. We didn't take pictures of the people under advisement of the ship. There had been some problems in the past where the people posed for pictures and THEN wanted huge amounts of money. The picture had been taken and, according to law, it had to be paid for.
